MEET THE FOUNDER:
🌿✨I’m Maya, the heart and soul behind ILLUSIONS LA a loose leaf tea company. Growing up in the tranquil beauty of Oceanside & Carlsbad, California, I’ve always felt a deep connection to the ocean and nature’s rhythms. This connection inspires my work, as I craft tea blends that not only nourish the body but also calm the spirit and bring people into a peaceful, mindful space.

Tea is my passion, but it’s more than just a drink, it’s a way of grounding myself and others in the present moment. When I’m not creating new blends, I’m studying the entertainment business and bartending, seeking deeper understanding and connection with people. I also love capturing life’s subtle beauty through film photography 🧡

Most of all, my heart belongs to Illusions. It’s not just a business to me; it’s a manifestation of my purpose, and I am committed to growing it with love, intention, and a genuine desire to share the healing power of tea with the world. 

⭐️Fun Fact: The reason I named my company Illusions is deeply personal. My name, Maya, means “illusion” or “magic” in Sanskrit, and I’ve always felt a connection to that concept. In many ways, life and the world around us can feel like an illusion, and I wanted my brand to reflect that idea.
Each tea blend I create is like peeling back layers of an illusion and inviting people to experience something new, something deeper, with every sip.
